Turua School’s annual Autumn Gala and Giant Pumpkin Festival was a fun event, with plenty to see and do. There were rides, bouncy castles, a sandpit dig, and other activities, along with yummy food and plant sales.
The displays were the stars of the show – giant pumpkins lined the side of the field ready for weighing, while elsewhere tables held entries for the quirky vegetable competition.
Children were also able to submit entries for the Decorate a Gumboot competition, and the Upcycled Garden Art competition.
