Hauraki Vintage and Machinery Club hosted its annual Crank Up at Kaihere Domain on November 6 with tractors, trucks, and drag saws on display. Spokesperson Lorraine Williams said the event had the “best” community response and said the event was well attended. The event also celebrated 75 years of Farmall Cub tractors, which were introduced in 1947 to replace horses on the very smallest of farms.
