A milestone gathering for centenarian Betty Smith took place at Richmond Villas in Thames on February 6, as she celebrated her 100th birthday in style with family and friends from near and far. The momentous occasion was filled with laughter, cake and a special speech by Betty’s daughter, Anne. Festivities continued for the centenarian with a morning tea put on by fellow residents.
