Greetings to new residents

MEET THE LOCALS ADVERTISING FEATURE
Greetings to all our new residents who are settling into our region. I’m sure you’ve already received a warm welcome from the local community and are making plans to immersive yourself in everything we have to offer.
The Coromandel electorate represents a very large geographic footprint. Its boundaries stretch from the top the Coromandel Peninsula, down to Omokoroa in the Western Bay of Plenty, across the fertile Hauraki Plains, and up the west side of the Firth of Thames.
Each of these distinct areas are home to thriving communities and passionate locals who are doing their bit to make their mark on the world. From innovative businesses to dedicated community groups, there is so much to experience in our region. And of course, we have a beautiful natural environment which is just waiting to be explored.
My family has been calling the Coromandel home for generations and it’s fair to say that I share the common feeling that there’s no better place to live, work, and play.
I simply encourage everyone to get out there and experience it for themselves.
I’m always keen to hear from people.
If you have any issue you wish to discuss or simply an opinion you want to share, call 0800 550 330 or email mpcoromandel@parliament.govt.nz.
