A wave of melodies and harmonies drifted through the air at the Ngatea War Memorial Hall last month. The Hauraki Country Music Club hosted its monthly group, where they encouraged people to not only cruise along and listen to the music, but also to step up to the microphone and share a tune or two. President Glen Rookes said sessions were on the third Saturday of every month from 12pm to 4pm, except for December. Reporter DAVIDDA HIKATANGATA was there to catch the rhythm.
