VE Day commemorated

Thames Museum Te Whare Taonga o te Kauaeranga commemorated the 80th anniversary of VE Day on May 31 with an open day, war reenactors from the WWII Historical Re-enactment Society Inc, and more. VE Day, also known as Victory in Europe Day, marked the date of the German Third Reich’s surrender in World War II.
