The Kerepēhi Brass Band is in the swing of their annual Christmas fundraiser, carolling in the streets of Thames Valley towns to spread Christmas cheer and collect funds for the next year’s operations.
On November 27, the band canvassed Ngatea, where it raised just over $1500.
December 4 was Paeroa’s turn, and the band broke into smaller groups of musicians, walking around the suburbs and playing Christmas favourites for the residents, who were drawn to the end of their driveways by the festive music.
The band also carolled in Thames on December 11.
