Fun day fun

The Turua Family Fun Day was a colourful affair. April 13 saw Turua Domain filled with bouncy castles, emergency vehicles, trucks and all sorts of stalls to peruse to the accompaniment of live music. Sadly, the weather didn’t co-operate, and left many people rushing for cover under the treeline as multiple squalls blew through. But despite the weather, there were smiles and laughter in every corner of the domain. The Turua Community Events committee said on social media it was “thrilled with how the day unfolded”, and promised more exciting events in the future. ALICE PARMINTER grabbed the brolly and headed to Turua for some fun.
