Splash champs

Thames Valley primary school students met at the Thames Centennial Pools on March 19 for the school swimming championships. The last of the summer weather saw brilliant sunshine for the competitors, and the poolside was packed with cheering spectators. Swimmers competed in clusters, with each cluster made up of the best swimmers from the schools in its zone.

ALICE PARMINTER popped in to see the splashy fun.
