Fiery fun in Waihī

The Waihi Fire Brigade’s open day on April 15 was a blast, in more ways than one. Visitors watched fire and rescue demonstrations, rode in a fire truck, tried out the escape maze, and dressed up as firefighters.
The event raised funds for the brigade’s Skytower Challenge Team, with proceeds going to Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand.
