Beach Hop goers revved into Thames on March 23 as part of the Repco Power Cruise the Loop which involved classic vehicles visiting towns in the Coromandel Peninsula at their own leisure. The event was put together by Beach Hop organisers since vehicles couldn’t safely travel in large convoys to places like Thames due to the closure of State Highway 25A.
