St Francis Catholic School in Thames held a mufti day on February 10, raising $179 for people affected by two large earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Principal Oliver Fahey told The Profile the school had been praying for the affected families, learning about both countries and decided to hold a mufti day for students to wear colours of both countries’ flags [red, black, white and green] and raise funds.
