Whānau Day fun

The rain didn’t stop people and whānau from heading to Whānau Day Out at the Paeroa War Memorial Hall on November 19. The event, hosted by Te Korowai Hauora O Hauraki in collaboration with Hauraki District Council, provided a day of fun and interaction with local community groups and health and social services together in one space. There were lots of stalls to visit, spot prizes and activities for tamariki and adults to enjoy and plenty of opportunities to connect with people from the community. Reporter DAVIDDA HIKATANGATA captured some of the moments.
