A place to enjoy the best of the warm weather is exactly what people will find at the Royal Oak Hotel.
Owners Lisa and Chris Chaffey and their team have refreshed the menu with new items from now until the end of summer, which includes mouthwatering dishes such as the Summer platter: fresh mussels steamed in the Hotel’s special ginger broth with a hint of chilli, seaweed salad, homemade smoked salmon dip, toasted ciabatta and fresh Clevedon oysters – a perfect light snack or starter for two.
“We also have half a dozen half shell Clevedon oysters available as well,” they said.
“Burgers are a good seller at this time of year, and if you’re looking for a lighter option we can make them into a wrap at no extra cost.”
But that’s not all, there are also healthy options for the kids such as the Chick n’ Mash made up of chicken schnitzel with steamed broccoli, mashed potato and gravy.
“While we’re a well established pub in the Coromandel, we try to do more than the usual “pub grub” – less fried, more taste.”
One thing’s for sure, when it comes to a delicious meal, people should look no further than the Royal Oak Hotel where “fresh is best”.
With a line of merchandise ranging from hats, track pants, singlets and shirts – people also have the opportunity to stay up to date with the freshest Royal Oak Hotel branded threads.
“If you can’t make it in to buy in person, message us via Facebook or Instagram to pay via internet banking [and] to arrange postage.”
