It was a day of fun, family and animal friends for the 85th Waihī A&P Show on November 22 at the Waihī Showgrounds. Paddocks of people enjoyed all sorts from food trucks, tractor rides and musical entertainers to performers on stilts, leaping horses, rock drilling and more. The Waihī A&P Association said their goal was simple: to create a show that brought the community together for fun, food, entertainment and animal appreciation. “We are proud to say we achieved exactly what we set out to do.” They thanked everyone who helped to make the day possible. “Here’s to celebrating community, and we have so much positive feedback already so we are looking forward to next year.” Reporter DAVIDDA HIKATANGATA snapped some of the adventure.
