Local racers are revving up their engines for the Valley Champs, on this weekend at the Patetonga Motorcycle Club.
The two-day event will see racers from age 5 through to mid-60s tackle the clay course, which features table tops, step ups, a supercross section and more.
Entries are still open, with categories available for several classes of bike, including ATVs – one of the few clubs to still offer racing for four-wheelers, committee member Jodi Morrison said.
With more than 90 entries already received, committee member Daniel “Gonk” Bryan said the long-running Valley Champs event would be a visual extravaganza and fantastic day out.
“Every farmer’s kid, every local kid has been through the Patetonga Motorcycle Club,” he said.
“Some of our local riders are now recognised as the best in Australasia and the world, so it’s a breeding ground for success.
“All the kids who go through here are better off for it.”
