The Rowdy’s Junior Touch tournament: He Whetu Anamata – Our Future Stars 2026 kicked off in Rotorua from January 24-25.
Thames Valley represented the region with an Under 10s boys team, Under 12s boys and girls teams and Under 14s boys and girls teams.
The under 10s boys team finished fifth overall, the highest out of any Thames Valley team. Meanwhile, the Under 12 boys and girls both finished seventh in their division.
The Under 14 teams finished 14th and 10th in their divisions respectively.
The teams played through a mix of sunshine, rain, wind and mud.
