This year’s Art Waikino exhibition saw Waikino Hall filled to the brim with more than 200 artworks of all kinds, to celebrate 25 years of art in the Gorge. The show, held over Labour Weekend, began with a grand opening celebration and awards ceremony on October 23.
Judges Graham Young and Adriana Tulscia said they had a difficult job choosing just a few awardees.
“Over the years, the event has grown into a vibrant showcase of talent,” Graham said.
“The diversity and calibre of work presented this year has been truly inspiring… It has posed a unique challenge for us as judges.”
